Raku-fired Pot

I was thrilled to find just the right nob for this piece . . . its translucent nature reflects the shiny glaze finish.  Raku is a different type of firing -- invented several centuries ago in Japan, for tea ceremony dishes.

Inspiration for this piece came from something similar I saw in Sweden.  Pour snacks from this container into your hand or bowl.  Maybe it should be called a Sanitary Nut Server.
