I have to say, this is one of my favorite pieces.
The quote around the rim is:

Plate to add to my mom's set of dishes.

Wine Glass in the same color scheme.  (Mom hasn't asked for wine glasses yet.  :-)   )

Mugs for my colleagues on the Rocky Mountain Association for Psychological Type Board.  (Can you tell the difference between the Introverted types' mugs and the Extraverted types' mugs?  :-)    )

Raku-fired Pot

I was thrilled to find just the right nob for this piece . . . its translucent nature reflects the shiny glaze finish.  Raku is a different type of firing -- invented several centuries ago in Japan, for tea ceremony dishes.  

Nut Server  

           

Inspiration for this piece came from something similar I saw in Sweden.  Pour snacks from this container into your hand or bowl.  Maybe it should be called a Sanitary Nut Server.
