Coffee Break, Swedish Style

When my sister and family, who live in Sweden, were here recently, we enjoyed the traditional "Fikas" -- coffee breaks -- with strong coffee and goodies . . . each having a different mug and plate set.

I guess the person with this set gets twice as many goodies.

Well, the fun is continuing.  I just love the "funkiness" and uniqueness of each of these bowls.  No way for any two to be alike . . . just like us human beings.

Free-form Bowls

I'm having a great time making and glazing free-form bowls.  I just seem to be drawn to them . . . maybe because they're each inherently unique . . . and call out for their own glaze or glazes.  Just too much fun!

Berry Bowls

My friend, Dorotha Ekx, said she keeps one of these by her sink to rinse any number of things.   So I tried that, and wow -- is it handy.  Thanks, Dorotha!
